“This is the best clinic in any health care field I have visited in a long time! Dr. Nathan was welcoming, kind and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The visit was very comprehensive and he looked at every detail of my concerns. He laid out everything we would work on moving forward and made sure I was heard when a question or concern came up. He is very knowledgeable about pelvic health and took time to explain even the simplest of topics to make sure I knew exactly what was going on.

Overall I wish I could give them 10 stars!!”

How We Stand Out

  1. You can expect individualized care from a Doctor of Physical Therapy at each visit. No getting passed around or being seen by someone without the high level of clinical expertise for part of your sessions.

  2. We respect your privacy and have large, private treatment rooms to work in at each visit. You don’t need to worry about sharing intimate details in a big open gym or blasting to the world that you are being seen for pelvic floor issues! In fact, since we are part of a larger wellness studio, nobody will know you are there for pelvic floor physical therapy in the first place.

  3. Not only do we specialize in pelvic health, Dr. Nathan has advanced training in men’s pelvic health specifically. While there are a lot of similarities in the pelvic floor between men and women, there are unique differences too that can matter when trying to work on such an important aspect of your health and life! We don’t look at men’s pelvic health as an “add on,” but something we truly care about.

  4. We know it is nobody’s favorite thing to have to go to pelvic floor physical therapy, so you better believe we are going to maximize our time together! You won’t find us counting reps for you, hooking you up to machines and walking away, or giving you a one-size-fits all approach that may or may not work. We want to see results as much as you do, so we continually reassess your progress, modify your treatment, and make sure you feel comfortable with any home program you have.

My pain level decreased dramatically after the first visit. As we continued to work together over the next few months my pain level continued to decrease and I felt like I could be active again which felt so good!”

What does a typical course of pelvic health physical therapy look like?

  1. Your care starts even before we see you. We are happy to talk with you, get to know you, and answer any questions to make sure we are a good fit for each other and you feel confident in your choice.

  2. You will be sent a comprehensive intake form so that we can learn more about your history and concerns and start developing a framework and priorities for your initial evaluation.

  3. At your initial evaluation, we will chat more about anything that didn’t come up on the intake form, complete an external and internal examination, and get you started with treatment. (Internal examinations are never mandatory based on your comfort level)

  4. You will be given some sort of home program to continue gathering information and/or working on factors that are contributing to your symptoms.

  5. Treatment and follow up visits will vary based on your needs but may include manual therapy, specific exercises, and education to keep you moving forward. We will continually be watching to make sure we are on the right course, and will pivot as needed.

  6. By the time you are finished with physical therapy, we hope that not only are your symptoms decreased or gone, but you have tools to set you up for success in preventing future problems too.
