Unlike many physical therapy clinics, we find that with longer, 1:1 appointments, we don’t need to see you more than 1X/week in most cases and can get you better faster than other approaches too. We can maximize our time with tailored interventions that may include hands-on work, exercise, and building a plan for you to keep the momentum going at home.

Not only does this save valuable time in your life, it can also add up financially to save time away from work, paying for childcare, or dishing out copays each visit.

At the heart of our business, we want to take care of YOU.

Here’s why being an out-of-network provider helps us do that:

  1. It allows us to spend an hour, 1:1 with you vs. juggling multiple patients or keeping session times shorter. This is simply unsustainable for clinics who are contracted with insurance companies.

  2. We think your care should be dictated by the skilled therapist you are working with, not someone sitting behind a desk who you’ve never met. Unfortunately, when insurance is involved, they can tell a provider which services can be provided, where treatment needs to be focused, and what should be considered “good enough” without having any of the credentials to know if that is true or helpful for you.

  3. We can take a full body/full person approach and let you be centered in your care. Especially when dealing with pelvic health issues which typically have some complexity to them (yes, even “simple” diagnoses), we truly believe we need to look for and treat the root cause for you to get better and stay better. We also have seen time again that we need to make sure our approach fits into your life so that it is manageable and sustainable. We simply believe the cookie cutter care that usually happens in insurance-based practices is not going to help you reach your goals.

  4. Your therapist isn’t burnt out which can directly impact your care too. With a smaller and more manageable caseload, we are able to spend time reflecting about you and your needs. It also keeps us engaged in our profession so that we stay on top of new research and skills to continue leveling up our ability to provide you excellent care.

  5. You will get better, faster. With more focused time to see the big picture and provide you care, combined with our ability to stay at the top of our field as clinicians, we find that patients see improvements much more quickly and fully than in other models of care. Nothing drives us more crazy than hearing patients going to physical therapy 2-3X/week for 12 weeks and still not seeing much of a change. Your time is more valuable than that and we want you to feel like yourself again as quickly as possible!

  6. You get transparent, up front pricing. So many times we hear of patients going in-network for financial reasons only to end up with a surprise bill at the end of care they weren’t anticipating. Copays, deductibles, and significantly higher price per treatment units at other clinics can really add up. We want you to be informed and confident every step of the way.

Your Sessions Include:

  • 1:1 care with your pelvic floor therapist

  • A tailored combination of treatments that may include hands-on work, exercise instruction, education, dry needling, cupping, and more

  • Continuous assessment and reassessment to make sure we are on the right track

  • Clear instruction on what to do to support your body between sessions

  • A team of therapists to collaborate behind the scenes to make sure you are getting multiple minds on your case if needed

  • Access to your therapist and our client care coordinators between sessions

Insurance Details

Please note that Tri Cities Pelvic Health is a fee-for-service clinic and is out-of-network with all insurance providers. Payment is due at time of service.

Most people choose our clinic for reasons other than insurance reimbursement, but we also want you to be able to use your benefits if you have them! If you’d like to submit a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement, we are happy to provide a superbill with all of the details they will need in 1-2 business days following each visit and can give you general advice on how the process works.

Tri Cities Pelvic Health does not speak to your insurance company on your behalf or receive payments for services from your insurance company.

 Frequently Asked Questions

  • We get that you want to be an informed consumer and may have some questions about your coverage. You can look through your plan or give your insurance company a call to get a better idea of what your benefits are and how you can access them. We compiled a list of questions to guide your conversation with your insurance provider to make sure you get all of the info you need!

  • Pelvic floor therapy services still fall under your outpatient physical therapy benefits. While we provide a unique specialty, all of the codes we use should allow you to access your general PT benefits.

  • We often see that our pricing ends up being very comparable or sometimes even cheaper than insurance based practices. This can be due to insurance-based clinics having you come in at a higher frequency for visits, billing at a higher per unit price (especially when related to a hospital program), and patients having unmet deductables or high copays. Plus, if you are experiencing slow progress because your provider isn’t able to provide you the best care, you end up spending more time and money overall by extending the overall duration of your care.

  • A superbill is essentially a fancy receipt that insurance companies need in order to reimburse you directly for services that were provided by an out-of-network provider. It includes your information, our clinic information, diagnosis codes, treatment codes, and billing information. We are able to provide this 1-2 business days after each of your sessions so that you can submit to your insurance company if you’d like.

  • This can vary slightly between insurance carriers, but in general the process looks pretty similar. Here are the breakdown of the process.

  • “I highly recommend Tri Cities Pelvic Health! Jacki was so wonderful to work with. Pelvic health can be such a sensitive topic to discuss, and Jacki provides the ideal environment that is both professional and comfortable. Her passion for what she does shines through in both the way she conducts her business, and the way that she genuinely cares about her patients. Jacki helped me get back to feeling like my old self again. If you’re on the fence about seeking help for your own pelvic health, do it!”
